Description

CUE, a nonprofit gallery that supports emerging artists, presents a collaborative installation by Levon Kafafian, Fatemeh Kazemi, and Levani, aligned with the closing of their group exhibition “The Bride Has Gone to Pick Flowers,” curated by Lila Nazemian. The installation creates an altar inspired by rituals from the artists’ homelands of Armenia, Iran, and Georgia, reimagined through a speculative lens. Together, they consider the present and future by reorienting, speculating upon, dreaming about, and queering inherited traditions in ways that embrace notions of fluidity and exchange.
