Red Arrow is honored to exhibit a solo presentation from New York-born and raised Julian Adon Alexander.
This presentation will showcase Julian Adon Alexander’s drawings organized in a sequential format, resembling a comic book narrative. The drawings will explore human emotions through visual metaphors that incorporate references from media, everyday life, and popular culture. Using these images, Alexander will illustrate how emotions manifest in the world around us, often in subtle, overlooked ways.
The booth will be painted in the same color as the toned paper Julian uses for his drawings. This creates a unified, immersive environment that connects the viewer directly to the medium he works with. The walls will echo the soft, warm tones of the drawings, allowing the colors of the art to pop against the neutral backdrop.
The drawings will be continuously installed and re-installed, like pages turning in a comic book, for the duration of the fair to keep the audience engaged and encourage multiple visits.
