RAINRAIN makes its NADA New York debut with a solo presentation by Maya Perry. Titled “The Heat of a Mirrored Image” , Perry transforms the booth into a space of unsettling intimacy, anchored by candle-lit flames and a towering collaged structure. Perry’s new works explore memory, trauma, and domestic disruption through drawing, painting, and layered storytelling—drawing on Kafka, Lispector, and Pizarnik to reflect on care, fragmentation, and the quiet chaos of living in a world on fire.
