Join special guests for MOCA’s Miami Art Week VIP Reception Tuesday, December 5th celebrating two fall exhibitions, Juan Francisco Elso: Por América, which features over 70 works by Elso and a multigenerational group of artists that intertwine Indigenous traditions, Afro-Caribbean beliefs, and post-colonial perspectives, and Jamea Richmond-Edwards: Ancient Future, an exploration into Afro-futurism and Black mythologies through vibrant paintings, film and installations. During the celebration a performance including majorettes and a drumline will be staged in the MOCA building.
