Intertwined yet fragmented, Christopher Paul Jordan and Reeha Lim’s topographic works offer a powerful meditation on how human experiences are lived, reconstructed, and reimagined in the wake of displacement. Through their distinct, yet resonant practices, they highlight the contradictions and complexities of being neither fully here nor fully there - transiting between histories, between places, between selves. Both now based in New Haven, CT, the artists utilise unique painterly processes to explore the myths of belonging and personal history that give shape to the self.
