Enrique Garcia presents new photo works and sculpture, expanding on his recent solo show at N.A.S.A.L. and his Material Art Fair presentation. His photo works layer appropriated images from books and magazines into minimalist compositions that explore tensions between industry, built environments, and nature. Garcia debuts a sculpture of tubular forms in hand-linked ball chain, refining his Material Art Fair piece—a 3-foot wheel of corrugated plastic within a ball-chain lattice. His sculptures evoke mud chains used in mining and agriculture, subtly defining space.
