Spinello Projects presents the New York solo booth debut of Miami-based artist Nina Surel (b. 1971, Buenos Aires) at NADA New York, showcasing new ceramic works from her ongoing Greta Chamotta/Great Love series, first introduced at Art Basel Miami Beach.

Chamotte—a granular grog central to Surel’s practice—gives her stoneware vessels, relief murals, and sculptures a raw, tactile presence that embodies strength, transformation, and imperfection. Her material palette includes dark horse clay, creating lava-like surfaces, and blue glaze interiors that evoke spiritual depth and alchemical change.
