Gern en Regalia from New York and Afternoon Projects from Vancouver, Canada present a two-person booth with painters Jessica Dean Harrison and Caro Deschênes. The oil paintings compliment each other in palette and in character. With ambient peaceful tones as well as gestured brush strokes, these thematic paintings are in the format of landscape and portrait. Jessica Dean Harrison’s spiritual iconography and musical references channel an ecstatic meditational state, and bring joy to the viewer.
