NADA Miami 2023

At NADA Miami Beach 2023, ILY2 presents works by Ido Radon and Morgan Buck.

Morgan Buck aggregates and alters found images culled from the digital firehose of some of the weirder corners of mass and social media to produce airbrushed paintings. The resultant uncanny works echo AI attempts at image generation. Ido Radon’s works could be said to be an attempt to materialize the abstractions that produce and constrain the social real—the abstractions hardwired into the grid of the grid—and think through infrastructures, hard and soft, that support and structure contemporary life.
