Anca Poterasu Gallery is happy to present the first international solo show of up-and-coming Romanian-American artist Megan Dominescu, for NADA Miami 2021. Her fresh outtake on contemporary textile art through rug hooking and embroidery tackles topics such as the representation of women in the media, ecological decay, and post-digital culture.
Megan’s tapestries create an a-poetic pop mythology in fibers, in carefully selected colours and contrasting textile textures.
