By displaying several large scale paintings from Diane Dal-Pra & Anastasia Bay, we are focusing on building a dialogue between the two young painters and creating a booth where their different figurative style echoes one another and the legacy of painting history. Dal-Pra’s surrealist influence meets the vivid movements from Bay’s Bacon-ish figures. Both artists offer a strong position on contemporary painting by considering painting as a work of observation of the living and summoning historical references yet opening a path for an open-ended future.
