Third Born

THIRD BORN presents a solo booth by Loucia Carlier in NADA’s Projects Section. Her series "Cheap Dreams," developed at La Becque (Switzerland), uses the miniature as both reverie and critique, revealing how domestic objects transmit power, habit, and norms. Combining carpentry, upholstery, and metalwork, Carlier builds disorienting interiors where the ordinary becomes suspect. Introducing self-portraiture, she stages the self as both agent and captive, testing how identity is shaped within domestic space.
