PROXYCO presents the works of emerging and mid-career artists, primarily from Latin America. We aim to deepen the understanding of works by artists of Latin American descent within an international art context.

For PROXYCO, the term “Latin American” is a fluid framework for engaging with and valuing art informed by both distinct cultural heritage and a continually expanding global perspective. Most of the gallery’s solo exhibitions feature women artists, reflecting our commitment to addressing the inequities in exhibition opportunities that women face, both in Latin America and internationally
