Founded in 1992 as an irreverent, free-wheeling alternative to Art Cologne, the UNFAIR spawned an entire industry of indie fairs. At 2 p.m. on April 15, Artspace Magazine editor-in-chief Andrew M. Goldstein will discuss the legacy of this influential art-market anomaly with the gallerist Christian Nagel, a co-founder of the UNFAIR; Jack Hanley, one of its exhibitors; and Wilhelm Schürmann, the collector who coined the fair’s name.
