Kendall Koppe is thrilled to present New York Pretty: A Musical Cumedy by Francisco G. Pinzón Samper.

Samper offers viewers access to a visual diary collated and made during a recent trip and extended period of time in New York. The extensive collection of works on paper are anchored by Samper’s larger works on wood.

Collectively, they speak of a constant stream of information and cross-cultural references experienced on a daily basis. Their amelioration of images highlights the cultural phenomenology of pseudo-sciences, design, ornamentation and its relationship to identity.
