The Long Table
The Long Table
NADA New York
601 W 26th Street, 3rd Floor
The Long Table is a participatory performance installation conceived by artist Lois Weaver, designed to blur the line between public dialogue and private conversation. Borrowing the familiar format of a dinner party, it offers a space for informal yet meaningful exchange on pressing issues—inviting artists, activists, academics, and community members to gather around a shared table and speak freely. In this iteration, guests are invited to reflect on the role of the artist as a visionary—someone who looks to the future with hope and dares to imagine new possibilities. The table will be facilitated by Paloma Estevez, Director of Artistic Programming at Lincoln Center. |
