Description

As a first-time participant in NADA NY, Ricco/Maresca Gallery is presenting a one-person exhibition featuring the work of contemporary artist Hydeon (b. 1985). The booth comprises a selection of new works on paper created specifically for the fair, as well as larger gouache on panel or canvas paintings that show the scope of the artist’s practice. Hydeon’s current work is a fusion of references, from ancient civilizations to the present and imagined futures. The artist draws inspiration from Baroque, Gothic, and Victorian era architectural movements, medieval art, art brut, and age-old myths.
