SHRINE is pleased to present a solo presentation of sculptures by Philadelphia-based artist Kambel Smith for NADA NY. The installation will be a city of Smith’s own making with recreations of some of America’s most beloved monuments. Kambel Smith (b. 1986) is most known for building intricate large-scale sculptures of well known historical buildings using recycled cardboard and other discarded materials. Smith has no formal training in art or architecture, and uses his innate ability to gauge perspective and scale without the use of measuring tools.
