“I’m an avid collector of fun glasses. When I’m sad or depressed, it helps me to put on a pair and see the world differently. I dreamed that I wore my favorite cactus glasses to the laundromat. I took them off to see something and they disappeared. I looked for them everywhere but couldn’t find them. I felt so sad thinking I had lost them. Some time passed and I saw a homeless woman wearing my glasses outside the laundromat. Instead of being upset, I was full of joy that she had them. She looked like she needed them. I believe in a higher power and I knew then that God had taken them from me to give to her.” - Karla Diaz
