12.26 is thrilled to present new paintings by Los Angeles-based artist Theodora Allen. The artist continues to explore her visual lexicon of shooting stars, infinities and hourglasses —all measuring acts of metamorphoses that inhabit spaces of flux. Allen engages with these symbols as metaphor for themes surrounding cycles and regeneration—the making and unmaking of nature.
