Ackerman Clarke hosts the works of four artists, each utilizing honed means to transform quotidian subjects. Will Gabaldón and Hidetaka Suzuki embrace the confines of alla prima techniques to differing ends. William J. O’Brien’s pursuit of morphing pattern-like geometries intuitively borrowed from decoration and design has lead to a series of the artist’s largest drawings to date.
