Sorry We’re Closed offers a booth with the work of 3 of the gallery’s artists.The three artists share a common link with history and mythology. Bay offers a contemporary version of “The Abduction of the Sabines”, in which women are more powerful, robust and reticent than in the Poussin version. Eric Croes, in a set composed of five sculptures in cast and bronze ceramics, five dual portraits, sort of Janus half-fauna, half-owl, half-goddess and Medusa. Yann Gertsberger, marine myths are revisited in a tapestry crossed by boat, populated by migratory birds and exotic plants.
