Lucia Reissig is an artist based in New York. Reissig’s work explores the interplay between the body's memory and the objects utilized in caregiving tasks, as well as themes such as the feminization of labor, the informal economy, and the politics of food. From 2017 to 2021, she produced the series "The Invisible Work," which focused on her experiences as a care worker in Buenos Aires during that period. These works explored the embodied memory within the domestic sphere, the laboring body, the notions of time and value, and the material transformation inherent in daily tasks.
