This program is for Members.
NADA Members are invited to the Brooklyn Museum on Thursday, March 24th for a tour of Baseera Khan: I Am an Archive with Associate Curator, Carmen Hermo.

Baseera Khan is the recipient of the second UOVO Prize, which recognizes the work of emerging Brooklyn artists.

On view are rich and multilayered sculptures, installations, collages, drawings, photographs, textiles, and a video in which Khan investigates othering, surveillance, cultural exploitation, anti-blackness, and xenophobia within our public and private spaces—and proposes avenues for protection and liberation.

Space is limited, RSVP to [email protected] by Thursday March 17th.

Please note: Proof of vaccination and matching ID is required for entry to the museum. The group will meet inside the entrance foyer.
