EMBAJADA presents a two-person exhibition by Puerto Rican painter Jonathan Torres and Mexican artist and jeweler Georgina Treviño, contrasting Torres’s heavily worked canvases of unsettling scenes with Treviño’s ornate sculptural works that merge adornment with industry. Together, the works explore tensions between rawness and refinement, attraction and discomfort.
