From her series "Your Body is a Space That Sees," the cyanotypes present a female-centric catalog of the cosmos, Drawing inspiration from the historic research of the "Harvard Computers," Halloran utilizes a cameraless process that bridges painting and photography. By layering hand-painted semi-transparent negatives over light-sensitive paper and exposing them to direct sunlight, Halloran produces luminous depictions of craters, comets, and nebulae, that highlight the contributions of these women astronomers.
