Observing the way a slug travels
I've had to slow down
Down to the precipice of reflection in all facet
My eyes water as I write this
Guided by love..only by love and a desire in understanding not for destination but for travel and further the way I do, the why.
I allow my heart to feel the silk of the wind but also it's cold coarse sheer. Un-blanketed, in the open. This holds a space for whomever may believe there is an existing adoration for struggle in those who journey.
I adore the way the slug travels. I admire it's present satisfaction in steady pull to where it be beckoned. It's trust that in it's perceived state, it will get there. These non-dualistic creatures often find their way into my space in the late of night. I take it upon myself to sit with them, observe and ask why they present themselves in such a time. I must say l've never seen so many. I write this with shaky hands and teary eyes. I give you my vulnerability always….always. It is the only way I know how to live. I need not wear my heart on my sleeve it is my armor. My protection, my wardrobe, my skin. It is who I am. No shell, no space for cowardice, pour salt on me and I will dwindle.
However, that be your decision. I am of few that hold a trust in humanity that way. I know one day the pain I currently study will subdue. For now,...
I am "Getting There".
I open the door in continuation to share progress of this piece. It means the world to me and deserves all the time as it is symbolic to a pivotal point in my life. I've not seen so much energy move in a moment of this experience like now. This now as magic as it is has brought emotions that flow with much ease. Watered nearly every day. I anoint myself in the bliss of release.
