Using materials such as glass and metal, Omyo Cho visualizes the entanglement of memory, the body, and time. Her works consider the boundaries between existence and environment, reflecting on the fragility and persistence of human existence in an ever-changing world. Parallel to her novel Nudi Hallucination, her sculptural practice explores the evolutionary potential of life and its consequences, and extends into inquiries on the limitlessness of identity as enabled by rapid scientific advancements in memory transference.
