Nu Vein is an extension of Omyo Cho’s Nudi Hallucination series, which explores the evolutionary potential of life and its consequences. In Nu Vein, Cho unites glass and metal to capture the spark of neural connection. Hanging in space, the sculpture’s gentle sway echoes the endless exchanges of neural circuitry, living networks in constant oscillation and attunement. Its subtle vibration simultaneously perpetuates and corrects for its movement, ensuring a dynamic state of equilibrium that resembles the way that all organisms correlate to one another, sharing a single flow.
