Recently re-acquired, these works premiered at New York’s Team Gallery, as part of the notorious Candy Factory exhibition, which marked the beginning of a twenty-year collaboration between Genesis P-Orridge and Eric Heist. The silver leaf was applied by Genesis partner, Lady Jaye, and the paintings represent Genesis re-entry into the art world as a maker in addition to a performer. Arguably these represent the first step towards their Pandrogeny project.
