Meg Cranston received the 2013 New York NADA Artadia Award, a $4,000 unrestricted, merit-based Award granted to one artist exhibiting at the NADA New York, for her installation “Emerald City.” Meg Cranston exhibited her work at a solo booth presented by Fitzroy Gallery and Newman Popiashvili Gallery.

A jury comprised of two internationally renowned curators, Lia Gangitano, Founder/ Director, Participant Inc.; and Daniel Byers, The Richard Armstrong Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, and Co-curator, 2013 Carnegie International Carnegie Museum of Art, walked through the fair on its opening day, Friday, May 10, to determine the award winner. Said Lia Gangitano, “The booth made a strong statement, and we’re thrilled that Meg is the recipient of Artadia and NADA’s generous support.”
