Wingate Studio is pleased to announce a new edition by Meleko Mokgosi. Lover’s Discourse II, 2025, is a seven-plate aquatint etching incorporating soft ground, hard ground, drypoint, and burnish- ing. Mokgosi’s large-scale, figurative works engage the history of painting and cinematic tropes to uncover notions of colonialism, democracy, and liberation across African history. Measuring 47 x 77 inches, this is Wingate Studio’s largest print to date.
