The nude has long been one of the most overdetermined categories in art history: at once classical ideal, moral battleground, and vehicle of liberation. What unites the artists in our NADA Miami presentation is their willingness to expand that category beyond convention. These works articulate a capacious understanding of the nude: not merely the unclothed body, but the act of being made vulnerable, of exposure, and of its echoes across even abstract or landscape forms.
