Sunanda Khajuria, Did I Miss Anything?, 2016
Acrylic on canvas
38 × 32 inches
Sunanda Khajuria’s art practice is a profound inquiry into transformation, identity, and the condition of being in transit—between cultures, geographies, and states of mind. Her residencies and doctoral research in China marked a decisive turning point, exposing her to Taoist philosophies, Chinese ink traditions, and the meditative principles of Shan Shui (mountain-water) painting. Through this synthesis of Indian and Chinese aesthetics, she developed a language that is at once spiritual and introspective, blending precision and delicacy with a strong conceptual base rooted in the idea of transformation.
