At NADA Miami, Rose Marcus presents a series of her new works - Bowls - which conjure portals between the atmospheric and embryonic. The artist lifts the concept of Duchamp’s Fountain, and drops it into an interior world, allowing appropriation to levitate. Two large works titled Chips, of crumpled crystalline landscapes, also act as portals. Together these works lasso in conceptual art, while reaching across imagined boundaries between painting, photograph and print.
