NADA Miami 2021

Part of a series of work with alchemical surfaces. The canvases are built up with varying impasto textures and rich hues in order to materialize images. The depiction of wax candles in various stages of being lit or melting was a focus of this work, the candles for Eagleton provides a contemplation on the nature of time.
