June 2, 7:30pm
Martos Gallery presents Michel Auder

View three short films by Michel Auder—Heads of the Town, Endless Column, and 1967—including a talk between the artist and curator Gianni Jetzer followed by a sound/performance piece from rising artist Kevin Beasley, one of Auder’s students whose work was featured at the 2014 Whitney Biennial.

Coming of age in the Parisian bohemia of the ‘60s and Warhol’s New York of the ‘70s, Michel Auder’s “elusive and tantalizing” works (New York Times) are essential to anyone seeking to understand what constitutes beauty in the realm of video art.

The David Rubenstein Atrium Broadway between 62nd and 63rd Streets

The event is free and open to the public RSVP at rsvp@newartdealers.org

NADA at The Atrium will continue the David Rubenstein Atrium’s commitment to presenting dynamic programming exploring the cross-section between the visual arts and music. The program features an artist working in video in collaboration with a musical performance / sound installation.
