NADA House Artist Residency 2020
In conjunction with The Trust for Governors Island, NADA is participating in an island-wide initiative on Governors Island to provide free workspace for artists, writers, researchers and other cultural practitioners who have been most impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
The NADA House Artist Residency is for artists of NADA Member galleries, and will be hosted at House 403 on Colonels Row, the location of previously scheduled exhibition. Each artist will have a private room (approximately 100-200 square feet) to work in for the duration of the residency, Aug 1 - Oct 31, 2020. Please note that since the residency will only take place in one house, space is limited to a total of seven residents.
With its collection of historic buildings, expansive open spaces and existing community of seasonal arts, cultural and educational organizations, Governors Island is uniquely positioned to respond to this need for work space.
