NADA House 2020
The third edition of NADA House, a collaborative, public exhibition on Governors Island, will take place June through August, 2020 across over 20 rooms in two neighboring turn-of-the-century Colonial Revival buildings. Please note that the opening reception, which was slated for May 7, has been postponed. Details regarding new dates for the exhibition and opening reception will be released in the near future.
The exhibition will run through the summer, with monthly programmatic activations. During the course of NADA House, Governors Island will also be host to numerous exhibitions, events, and residencies by arts organizations such as Shandaken Projects and Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC).
As Governors Island has existed as a small community alongside, yet distinctly separate from the metropolis of New York City for many years, this project presents an unusual, exciting context for artists to display their work.
