7 FOR ALL MANKIND ROBERTSON SHOPPING EVENT
100 SOUTH ROBERTSON BOULEVARD
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 2008
3PM – 7PM
On Saturday, April 12th, 2008, 7 For All Mankind hosted a shopping event at the Robertson store location. In addition to promoting the new spring 2008 collection, 7 For All Mankind continued to show its support of the arts by once again partnering with NADA (The New Art Dealers Alliance) to showcase the works created for 7 For All Mankind during Art Basel in 2007. Six of the 7 pieces were brought over from their home in the corporate office in Vernon for the event, and will continue to be on display in the store for the next month. VIP clients of 7 For All Mankind as well as members of the Los Angeles art community were invited to the store to shop the new collection and enjoy the artwork. One of the NADA artists, Lisa Anne Auerbach, attended the event and went home with three pairs of new jeans!
Invitations were sent out to both 7 For All Mankind’s VIP mailing list as well as NADA’s Los Angeles-based mailing list, including local galleries and artists. Roughly 100 shoppers attended the Saturday event. Guests were treated to complementary alterations on each jean purchased, including original hemming. The sweet bites provided by Joan’s on Third and went perfectly with chilled glasses of crisp Prosecco, Ethos and Pellegrino waters. DJ Brett spun tunes adding a party vibe to the day.
